“ Authentic Korean restaurant. The food is hot and spicy, super good for winter time, definitely warm you up. We have the soup and the octopus dishes. All tastes delicious. ”
“ This place ended up being our second choice, as the restaurant we initially planned to visit was undergoing renovations on that scorching summer day. Adapting to the situation, we decided to try their marinated goat meat hot pot (보양전골), which turned out to be quite satisfactory. The hot pot came brimming with an ample amount of goat meat, including the goat skin. However, the dipping sauce for the meat was a tad overly sweet, and the selection of fresh vegetables was somewhat limited. The presentation of the hot pot was average, neither exceptional nor disappointing. On the service front, we received good attention. The waitress visited our table a few times to replenish our side dishes. Familiar with the culinary traditions, we took the liberty to transform the remaining goat meat into a rice-based porridge after enjoying the meat itself. The restaurant was bustling, situated between the peak hours of lunch and dinner. It's evident that the establishment has garnered a reputation and seems to have established a stable presence in the dining scene. Update on 10/9/2024 We ordered braised Hail Tail (갈치조림) which is very famous in this restaurant and 공등어구이 and 된장찌게 combo. It was quite good and service was outstanding and attentive. ”
“ The food was a highlight of our visit. The presentation was beautiful, and each dish was bursting with flavor. We tried the Bossam, which was absolutely divine. The portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. The service at Kang Seo is exemplary, characterized by a team of a tentative and knowledgeable staff who go out of their way to ensure a pleasant dining experience. From the moment we were greeted at the door to the final farewell, the service was impeccable. Our waiter (Hyena and her teams) was not only efficient but also personable, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness. The staff’s genuine enthusiasm and dedication to customer satisfaction are evident, make you feel valued and well-care-for throughout your visit. Overall Impressions: Five Stars and Highly Recommended. ”
“ I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious this place was. The hot stone bibimbap featured a delightful blend of crunchy, hot, and fresh vegetables, along with a savory touch. While the egg was slightly overcooked, the piping hot and crispy rice made up for it. The barbecue was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the additional toppings elevated the dish even further. The atmosphere is geared towards families and exudes a tranquil and pleasant vibe. ”
“ This spot has become a go-to staple for me and my wife whenever we’re craving good, solid, and healthy Korean food. Despite its popularity and the inevitable busy atmosphere, the quality of both the food and service never falters. The dishes, including the banchan (side dishes), are consistently top-notch—always fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The friendly staff adds to the experience, checking in regularly to ensure we have everything we need, even during the busiest times. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic, high-quality Korean food. It’s a gem we’re happy to return to again and again. ”
